Bill Sharman was the shooter on the first incarnation of the Auerbach-Russell Celtics. He went on to coach the Lakers to their first LA championship. Sharman is widely regarded as the first modern coach, for inventing morning shootaround and placing emphasis on his players’ conditioning, among other things.
Here he is being treated by Rached Daoud, M.D., who as far as I can tell is some sort of pseudo-scientifical Romanian healer. Enjoy your weekend!
